My Approach
Integrative Relational Developmental Psychotherapy / Counselling
No two people are the same, and neither is their story. That's why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
My training is in Integrative Psychotherapy which means I draw on a range of psychological theories and therapeutic approaches to understand you as a whole person, rather than through the lens of a single model or diagnosis. Together, we'll explore your experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions, body and nervous system, recognising that each offers valuable insight into who you are and how you've learned to navigate the world.
I believe our ways of thinking, feeling and relating make sense in the context of our life experiences. Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?", I'm interested in understanding "What has happened to you?" and "How have you learned to survive?"
I work with clients experiencing a range of concerns, including:
Anxiety
Addictions
Bereavement & Grief
Childhood adversity and attachment difficulties
Depression
Eating disorders & body image
Emotional regulation
Isolation
Identity & sense of self
Life Transitions
Loneliness
Neurodivergence & neurodiversity

Sexual harm, including sexual abuse & rape
Sexuality
Shame
Suicide/suicidal ideation
Trauma & post-traumatic stress

Why Rewoven?
I chose the name Rewoven because it reflects the way I see both people and therapy. Our lives are made up of countless threads; our relationships, experiences, memories, losses, strengths and hopes. Together, they shape the fabric of who we are.
I hold in mind that your story contains many unique and complex threads that may have become tangled through painful experiences, difficult relationships or the ways we've learned to survive. For me, therapy isn't about pulling those threads apart or pretending they never existed. It's about taking time to understand them, honouring the role they've played in your life, and gently weaving them into something that feels more integrated, authentic and whole.
What to Expect
Every therapy journey is unique, and there is no set agenda for what we will talk about. Some sessions may focus on what's happening in your life right now, while others may explore past experiences, relationships or patterns that continue to influence how you think, feel and relate to others. We'll work at a pace that feels right for you, creating a space where you can reflect, make sense of your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
There is no expectation to have everything figured out before you arrive. Therapy is a place where we can explore uncertainty safely, without judgement, together
Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually held weekly. Meeting regularly helps us build a strong therapeutic relationship, creating a consistent and reliable space where trust can develop over time. While therapy can sometimes feel challenging, change rarely happens all at once. It often develops gradually through the ongoing process of exploring your experiences, and discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others. Throughout our work together, we'll regularly review on how therapy is progressing, ensuring it continues to feel meaningful, collaborative and responsive to your needs.
