Hello, I'm Robyn.
Firstly, welcome to Rewoven Psychotherapy.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting. It can be difficult to know where to start, what to say, or even whether therapy is the right step. Whatever has brought you here, I hope you find a space where you feel genuinely welcomed.
At the heart of my work is the relationship we build together. I want therapy to be a place where you don't have to perform, pretend, or have everything figured out before you arrive.
Authenticity is one of my core values, and I aim to bring my genuine self into our work together rather than hiding behind the role of "the therapist." I believe meaningful change happens when two people can meet with honesty, warmth and mutual respect.
Originally from Nottingham, I spent my early adulthood living in Australia and New Zealand. Those years nurtured my love of the outdoors, wide open spaces and a slower pace of life. Although I returned to the UK to begin my professional career, that appreciation for nature has stayed with me. Whenever I can, you'll find me escaping the city to explore the mountains of Scotland or Wales in my tiny red campervan.
Those moments of slowing down, reflecting and reconnecting with nature remind me of something I often see in therapy: we all need space to pause, breathe and reconnect with ourselves. It's something I value in my own life and something I hope to offer the people I work with.

My Professional Journey
As final-year UKCP Advanced Trainee at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, I have over 350 hours of clinical experience. Alongside my training, I receive regular clinical supervision, ensuring my practice is continually supported, reflected upon and developed.
Alongside my Psychotherapy training, I also work within the NHS, supporting people experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties. With over 10 years experience in this field my experience as a Mental Health Nurse has given me valuable insight into the complexity of emotional distress and the importance of compassionate, person-centred care. This is what led me to train in Integrative Psychotherapy, where my work combines the clinical understanding I gained through nursing with a relational, integrative approach that sees each person as far more than a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms.
